Who is June1one?

      For a large portion of my life, I asked myself this very question. I had spent countless years searching within, seeking my true purpose. Life has a way of humbling you, and if you don't take notice of the signs, you'll miss the lessons you are meant to learn. Some of us unfortunately don't get another opportunity. 

   

      As a young man, my life started fast. Becoming a father for the first time at age 20, I had come to know what true love is.  Holding my first born, enthralled with her smile and cackles. This was everything. The years went by and I enjoyed the beauty of being a father two more times. Alexandra, Julianna, and Jonathan. Pain in the butts, but they were also my greatest achievements. 

      Times have since changed, and like the spring leaves turning over to the auburn shades of the autumn cool breeze, we fall but give ourselves another chance to thrive. Being a self taught creative has allowed me to channel my emotions, visions, and life into forms of art. It started at age 9 with comic books, to graffiti, then to telling stories visually using the methods and mediums I learned through countless hours of trial and error. Mixing mediums like pencil sketches, inked drawing, acrylic paintings,  photoshop and illustrator. Sometimes, even all together to achieve visual clarity. 

      Art is subjective, and for me, deeply therapeutic. Not just escapism, but a porthole for you all to see into ourselves.
